FreeIMU is Here!
And after much waiting, one of the key components of my first Arduino prototype has finally made it’s way home.
The FreeIMU 0.4.3 looks to be a neet piece of hardware. Featuring integrated voltage regulation, 10 degrees of liberty (3 accelerometers, 3 gyroscopes, 3 magnetometers and a high precision barometer) and *if I got it right* onboard pre-processing of data, this should be a hell of a basis for advanced IMU computations.
And it should, since it was pretty expensive!
